OK folks, stop it…just stop it! The press is not exempt from criticism. Sure they have a constitutionally protected right to do what they do. They are supposed to play an important role in keeping government accountable to the people. This freedom should be guarded jealously because of the important role that the media plays in a republic such as ours. Having said that, the press does not get a free pass to say anything, and behave anyway that they choose, without being challenged. Keep in mind, the same liberties that the media enjoys are the same liberties extended to every citizen of the United States, including the President. Just as those in the media have the right to call the President of the United States a Nazi, a racist, a white supremacist, a misogynist, an Islamophobe, a xenophobe, or any other ist or phobe, by the same token; the President has the right to call them fake news, or to label the fake news as the enemy of the people. It is as simple as that. The first amendment works both ways. 

Ever since the election of Donald Trump, the media has embarked on a mission to destroy his Presidency. They have abandoned any pretense that they once held onto as they tried to portray themselves as “down the middle.” The same media that turned a blind eye, and clogged their ears to the lies and deceit that took place under the Obama Administration for eight years, suddenly regained their courage when Trump was elected. The media expects everyone to be impressed with their microscopic examination of President Trump as they ignore all of the crazy, unhinged, buffoonery that is taking place in the Democrat Party and on the left. This is the same media that stood by in silence as his holiness Barrack built his multiple straw men during his tenure, lied to the people on major issues, and then declared with a serious face that he had no scandals during his eight year reign. So when people look at their pathetic, despicable, shameless behavior and call them fake news, they whine that Trump and his supporters are encouraging violence against the media. 

The truth is that if it was not for alternate media, people would never not know about many of the important issues, and happenings that are taking place in the country. The monopoly that the legacy media once enjoyed, which allowed them to control the narrative on the issues has long disappeared, and though they still have tremendous sway they do not simply get away with the things that they once did. That is what upsets them more than anything. On top of all that, whereas in the past they were able to say anything about a Republican President without any opposition, the current resident of the White House fights back. It is legitimate to say that President Trump is often petty and he sometimes needs to let some things go without always being so combative, but he has a right to call the press out on their blatant falsehoods, and their advocacy on behalf of the Democrat Party. 

These people are so desperate about being exposed that they tried to blame the recent bomb threats to some news outlets and Democrat politicians by a lunatic supporter of Trump on President Trump and his supporters. They say that shouting “CNN sucks” at Trump rallies encourages violence against the press, and that calling them fake news is dangerous. No it is not. Please! The truth is that CNN and the rest of the media cartel is a pitiful excuse for a news organization, and they should be called out for their shameless descent to the gutter. Their attempt to blame Trump and his supporters for the recent bomb threats is not meant to highlight any real threats to the media, because there have been no threats. They are simply trying to intimidate people into silence.

Their latest stunt suing the White House to get Jim Acosta’s White House press credentials back is sure to end in humiliation for them, and will only serve to highlight once more what a pathetic bunch they are. Jim Acosta thinks that he has the right to shout and debate the President after the President answers his question and attempts to move on to one of the other dozens of reporters who also wants to ask questions. Acosta thinks that he does not have to give up the mike as a staffer attempts to take it and pass it on to another reporter. He thinks that he has the right to put his hands on the female staffer then claim that he did not, and the footage of him doing so is “doctored.” Well, he’s wrong! These people have no shame whatsoever. If he does not know how to conduct himself during the press briefing, he deserves to lose his credentials. It’s not the CNN press briefing, it’s the White House correspondents press briefing. CNN still has access to the White House. Their rights nor the rights of any other media organization have not been infringed. Freedom of the press is alive and well in the United States of America.  

Michelle Obama recently launched her book tour. In a recent interview with Robin Roberts she stated that “our presence had been celebrated by millions of Americans, but it also contributed to a reactionary sense of fear and resentment among others.” She went on to state that “the hatred was old and deep and as dangerous as ever.” She does not give any specific examples of the hatred, or the so called reactionary sense of fear and resentment she is talking about, but that is not necessary in her world. Being the victim is a cherished status, and worth holding onto with every fiber of ones being. It does not matter how successful, accomplished, intelligent, influential or admired a person may be, and make no mistake; Michelle Obama is all of those things. Despite all of that though, she has to hold on to the notion that she is reviled by a large section of Americans, because of no other reason than the color of her skin. This woman who has been in the company of royals and treated like royalty herself wants us to know that despite her privilege, she is after all just a black woman in America, and that matters more than anything to a large segment of Americans. Of course the sycophantic media, in the pursuit of promoting leftist ideology, has completely abandoned its role and simply let her make this statement unchallenged. She is not asked to give details pertaining to her statement. 

These media personalities are in awe of her and just contented to be in her presence. Journalistic integrity be damned! Asking probing questions is reserved for those of the conservative persuasion. No one who has followed Mrs. Obama’s career is surprised by her assertion that her fellow citizens were fearful and resentful of her and her husband’s presence in the White house. This is the same woman who said that she only became proud of her country for the first time in her entire lifetime when her husband was chosen as the Democrat Party representative to run for President in 2008. Prior to that Mrs. Obama had no reason whatsoever to be proud of her country. Do not forget that she and her husband for twenty years sat in a church that preached on black liberation theology.  They sat at the feet of a man who vehemently hates America, and has often spewed racist rhetoric towards white people, not the kind of rhetoric that requires interpretation, but naked, unadulterated, hateful rhetoric. 

Many black people reading Mrs. Obama’s contention that her family’s presence caused Americans to be fearful and resentful will shake their head in agreement. They will not require that she back up her statement with any proof. Just the fact that the Obama’s are black is enough reason to conclude that any opposition to them was based on race. It is sickening, it is disgusting but it will pass as insightful, nuanced, sophisticated and deep.

The same people who will lap this stuff up without an ounce of curiosity are the same people who dare to lecture the rest of the country about their support for Donald Trump. They see nothing wrong in this woman arbitrarily, without anything at all to back it up, accusing her fellow Americans of being resentful towards her family because her family is black. That is not divisive to them. She is just “telling it like it is.”

How does one reconcile Mrs. Obama’s statement with the treatment that they had. received for eight long years? They were practically worshipped during their entire tenure, but that does not matter, the fact that they were ever opposed at all rendered them as victims of hate and resentment. Criticizing them was anathema, and anyone who dared to break that sacred rule felt the wrath of their defenders.  Looking back on the Obama years, one could only wander would have been possible had they taken a different approach, and been cheerleaders for the country, talking of all that is possible for anyone blessed enough to be born here. Instead, what we had for eight years was a man beloved by so many telling the country for eight years how terrible and racist it was. Now that they are no longer in the white house, his wife is continuing to spread the message that in America your effort and achievements do not matter, just the color of your skin. Colin Kaepernick, Lebron James, Spike Lee, Oprah Winfrey and the whole cabal of race hustlers are in good company.  

The people have spoken, they’ve decided that President Trump needs a check on his power. The roaring economy, the defeat of Isis, the tax cuts, the advancements with North Korea, the improved trade deals with the European nations, Korea, Canada and Mexico, the embassy move to Jerusalem, the shredding of the Iran nuclear agreement, and the reinstating of sanctions and all of the other big policy wins were not enough for the people to give him two more years with congress on his side. That is the way the system works in a Democracy/Republic. In gaining control of the house Democrats get to put the brakes on the President’s agenda. In order to move forward on any meaningful legislation, Democrats and Republicans will have to work together. The question now is whether or not they can put some of their differences do it in the effort to find areas where they can cooperate. In the past we’ve have seen how a divided congress can bring the people’s business to an extremely slow chug. The Democrats have made it clear what they want to do. Let’s see if they will follow through on their plans. They plan to impeach the President, launch endless inquiries, raise taxes, do nothing on illegal immigration, continue sanctuary cities, reinstate regulations, increase taxes, investigate Judge Kavanaugh and push their socialist agenda. The people have said yes to crazy Maxine Waters, the know nothing socialist Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, the corrupt Bob Menendez, and the irrational Nancy Pelosi. The people deserve the Government that they get. The riots in the streets, the looting on college campuses, the blocking of traffic in streets across America, the use of violence as a tool, the constant race baiting, the politics of personal destruction and all of the unhinged acts that we have seen in the last two years have been rewarded. We also have to see how President will react to this change in the power structure. Will he be as combative or will he show a more cooperative side that we have not seen in the effort to continue the tremendous results we have made in the economy and other areas ever since his election. The Republicans in the meanwhile are not going home empty handed. They maintain control of the Senate with some gains. In doing so they get to continue their impact on the Judiciary in the next two years in a way that could set precedent for years to come. For many in the conserve movement, the ideological direction of the court is the most important issue. Though many of them are indeed disappointed in the results, they are excited that they get to keep the Senate and still shape the direction of the courts. In a divided country where both sides have dug in their heels, the battle for the soul of the country has entered another phase of the culture wars. How this all bodes for the country in the next couple of years is yet to be determined. All indicators point to a roller coaster couple of years leading up to the Presidential elections. Buckle up! It’s going to be one heck of a ride, but God is still in control.

Today as America decides who will be in charge of Congress for the next two years, the distinct message of the two parties could not be clearer. One is a message of hope that says America”s best days are ahead, and that we can overcome any obstacle that comes in our way. With God on our side, and the sheer determination and grit of the American people, we can accomplish anything, and will continue to be the greatest nation in human history. Despite our flaws, we as a nation will continue to address injustice, bigotry and hate the way that we always have. We can look to our past, see how far we have come, be confident that the American story is still being written, and that justice and freedom will prevail. We are grateful to God who has made all of this possible. It is because of him that we have been so richly blessed. The other message is a message of gloom and doom. The promulgators of this message tell us that unless they are in power there is an existential threat to the people that only they can fix through the power of Government. They never fail to let us know that the United States is an unjust country that feeds off the oppression of its people. The white man is at the root of all the problems that we face, and white people in general want to keep everyone else subjugated. The message declares that the rich are rich because they have cheated the poor. Women are in danger of losing their rights. The sick will be left to fend for themselves. Old people will be hung out to dry, and children will be forsaken because the other side simply does not care. Yes indeed, theirs is a very familiar message. Every two years they go seeking out David Duke or some other bogeyman, then they try to tie him to the other side, then they spit out the oft repeated mantra. The other side is racist, sexist, misogynist, and bigoted. There is no joy or optimism in that message. They thrive on negativity! The country is always just one step away from falling apart, and only they can keep it together. You will never hear them being cheerleaders for the country.

It is we the people who decide which message prevails. VOTE!

There was a time in the United States of America when the people had a common love of the country. They generally agreed that even though we had problems, we live in a great place with the freedoms, and privileges, and amenities that we enjoy. People understood that the country had serious issues that it needed to work out, but they understood implicitly that in the history of the entire world, going all the way back to antiquity, there has never been a more successful experiment in Governance than the United States. The beauty of America is that the principles on which the country was founded are so upright that in the areas where we did not live up to them, the people had systems in place to make them right. That is why in a world where slavery was the norm, the people were able to force change. They argued that the Judeo/Christian principles that the founding fathers often referenced were not compatible with slavery and other injustices, and so they corrected it.

Unlike in the past where peopl were governed according to the whims of mornachs, and the so called “divine right of kings” superseded the rights of everyone else, America took a different approach. The voice of the people mattered more than the voice of any one individual. Because this experiment has been so successful here, and spread successfully to other parts of the Western world, people mistakenly think that it has always been the norm. Many do not have an appreciation for how blessed we are, and they judge the country based strictly on its imperfections. They measure who we are against a standard of perfection, so that no matter how far we’ve come, no matter how much adversity we’ve overcome; they only see the negative things that ail us. 

It is because so many have been raised to judge the country based on its imperfections that there is no longer that common appreciation of the courntry that Americans once shared. There were always differences of opinion in terms of what we need to do to keep improving as a society, but there was a common bond that people generally had as fellow Americans. Today there is a major political Party whose entire platform is based on villifying the country, and their fellow citizens. At every opportunity they get, they tell us that one group of Americans harbors feelings of ill will towards other groups of Americans, for no other reason than differences in the color of their skin. They tell us that certain groups of young men have to legitimately fear for their lives because America is such a terrible place, and their is a system in place, designed to deny these young men their civil rights, and wantonly take their lives for no other reason than the color of their skin. We hear everyday from this political party and their supporters that the President of the United States is a racist, a white supremacist, and a Nazi. They tell us that the President of the United States hates women, and the reason he was able to get so much support is because the people he appeals to share his ideology of hatred. They have even labeled “people of color” who support the President as white supremacists. It does not matter what time of the day it is, there is a constant barrage of negativity from people who believe that anyone who does not share their vision for the country is by nature a really terrible human being. 

These people think that there is no reason to be proud Americans. They are offended by patriotism. The idea of standing for the national anthem and saluting the flag is offensive to them, and saying the pledge of allegiance is now considered to be insultive to them. Who would have ever thought that, but it is the current reality. Chanting “USA, USA” is a racist “dog whistle” to many, and they shake their heads in disapproval whenever they see or hear what they consider to be such acts of false patriotism. In this present environment, it is absolutely refreshing to have someone in the white house who is a cheerleader for the country, who is not cowered into silence by baseless charges of bigotry. His supporters understand that there are real problems in this country, they also recognize that the country has built in mechanisms to help us overcome the problems that we face as a nation. But most of all they understand how blessed they are to be a part of this great and blessed nation. 

 Yesterday it  was so refreshing to see outside the white house, a group of young black conservatives hold a rally in support of President Donald Trump. It was such a beautiful sight to behold, not particularly because they were there in support of the President, but because they are willing to buck the status quo and show that they can think for themselves. Their willingness to openly support the President is a bold and courageous stance, because it opens them up to ridicule, insults, hate, and ostracism. As a black person in America, it is easy to side with, and repeat the worn out cliches that people like Michael Eric Dyson, Marc Lamont Hill, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and Barrack Obama spew. Any dead fish can swim downstream with those guys, but as one very wise man says, it takes a fish with strong backbone to swim upstream and go against the current. And that is what makes these young black, vibrant, intelligent young people so special. They are free independent thinkers who are willing to think outside of the political box in which so many white leftists who have no interest in their well being insist they remain. As Candace Owens says, for these white lefties black lives do not matter, black votes do. They have for years used the racist bogey man to scare black people into voting for the Democrat Party and it has quite frankly gotten old.

Of course, black people should vote for whomever the want. They do not have to like Donald Trump nor vote for him, but what so many black people seem to do is just go along with the herd, without any kind of critical thinking on the issues. How does one ignore so many of the problems in the black community that are a direct result of Democrat policies and leadership? An example of this is the Baltimore race riots from a couple of years ago. After the media, the Democrat Party and the left fomented their racial discord, black people just went along with the show and allowed themselves to be played like a fiddle by these white lefties who see themselves as the savior of black people. Lost on black people all across the country was the fact that this city was completely controlled by the Democrat Party with people of color at all of the highest levels of leadership in the city. The mayor was black, over two-thirds of the city council was black, the chief of police was black, most of his officers on the force were black, three of the six officers in the case were black, the prosecutor was black, and even the judge who tried the case was black. The city has been run by Democrats since the late sixties but none of that mattered. Sadly, black people refuse to even consider trying something different. It is the same story in cities like Detroit, Chicago, St. Louis, Philadelphia, Newark and others around the country. They have all been run by Democrats for decades, and they have been run into the ground. In spite of all of this, many black people in these cities, in a classic display of intellectual laziness; they reflexively latch on to charges of racism without any careful examination of the issues, and they vote the same people into power over and over again, expecting different results. 

One can understand why it was so refreshing to see these young people outside of the white house yesterday openly defy the plantation masters who insist that black people remain on the Democrat Party plantation. These courageous folks do not lose their capability to think when people fling the word racist, Nazi, fascist or white supremacist in the air. They are not single issue voters who sacrifice every other issue at the altar of so called systemic racism. They dare to use  their brains to think, and their minds to reason. They ask themselves the hard questions and then make their political decisions based on this process. 

An interesting fact about the Democrat Party is that they have never acknowledged, nor apologized for their sordid history. They have never acknowledged their central role in the trail of tears, slavery, the Ku Klux Klan, Jim Crow, lynchings, the inhumane black prison camps of the early twentieth century, the Rosewood massacre, the Ocoee massacre, the use of fire hoses and dogs on innocent black marchers, their opposition to civil rights and many other shameful issues in this country. After being on the wrong side of every major issue to affect black people, and civil rights in general in this country, instead of acknowledging their role and seeking to do right, they claim that “the two sides switched.” They initiated the welfare state with the sole purpose of getting people dependent on the government, and then they started branding anyone who opposed their policies as racist. Using this strategy they have been able to avoid culpability for their sordid history, while simultaneously keeping many black people from rising to their full potential.

There is no doubt that today black people are doing better than they have at anytime in our history. Most black people are not living in squalor, nor down trodden lives. Black people have generally reaped many of the benefits that America has promised to those who reach out for them and take action, but the community could and should be doing much better. In many communities across America there is a different reality for too many black people and the common thread in most if not all of these places is that they are run by Democrat politicians. Despite all of this, the only thing a Democrat has to do is say the word “racist” and black people run flocking to the voting booths to zealously cast their vote for the Democrat politician promising that they will take care of all their needs, and save them from the racist white man.

Today in the news we learned that prominent members of the Democrat Party, and the CNN news organization received suspicious devices suspected to be bombs. The people who were sent these devices are heavy hitters in the Democrat Party, and critics of Trump. The list of people who were sent these devices include god, Bill and Hillary Clinton, George Soros, Maxine Waters, and John Brennan. Naturally, this is behavior that cannot be condoned. It is unacceptable that our politics has sunk this low. Violence has no place in the political process, and every decent law abiding American knows this. Naturally leaders in the Republican Party and in the conservative movement have made it absolutely clear that they do not support this behavior, and categorically condemned it. Authorities must spare none of their resources in the effort to resolve this unfortunate turn of events and find out who is responsible. It does not matter that the people at the receiving end of these threats are Democrats. The calls, and the appeal for this behavior to cease must be as vociferous as when the violence is directed at Republicans and conservatives. There is no justification for this behavior!  

As usual though, when these unfortunate events occur; the double standard is applied, and the response is unlike anything that we see when the threats are directed against conservative politicians. The media seems to be excited by this turn of events. To them this is another great opportunity to turn the negative spotlight on President Trump. They are breathless in their coverage of these events because they get to portray Trump and his supporters as extremists. Anyone who has ever paid attention to American politics though, knows that violence is not a tool that is generally associated with the conservative movement or the Republican Party. This is not to say that they are blameless or have never committed violent acts. This is just to remind everyone that despite how the media portrays this, to keep in mind that this behavior is never promoted or advocated by those in the mainstream, on the right of the political spectrum. You will be hard pressed to find anyone in the leadership, or other prominent positions on the right calling for violence or the harassment of their political opponents. You will however find them voicing in the strongest terms their opposition to this behavior. You will not find commentators like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Larry Elder, Mark Levin and others saying that the targets of the bomb threats deserve it, or brought it on themselves. On the other hand, keep in mind that political violence has long been a staple of many on the left.

While the media ecstatically reports on the bomb threats directed at these leftist, Democrat politicians, do not forget for one minute how they have reacted to the scores of violent attacks against, and harassment of Trump’s supporters, and conservative politicians in the last two years. They have been virtually silent! Do not forget the rioting on campuses. Do not forget the assassination attempt on the lives of several Republican Congressmen just one year ago. Do not forget the calls for violence by celebrities and academics. Do not forget the number of GOP offices that have literally been firebombed.  Do not forget Maxine Waters calling for the harassment of Trump’s cabinet members or Corey Booker admonishing his supporters to “get in the faces of some congress people.” It is Nancy Pelosi who said that she does not understand why there are no uprisings in the streets. Only last week Hillary Clinton declared on national TV that you cannot be civil towards Republicans until Democrats regain power.    

The media, as the propaganda arm of the Democrat Party are predictably drooling all over themselves as they report on these bomb threats. They can’t believe their “luck” as they get to portray Democrats as victims of the dastardly Trump and his band of evil supporters. But again, keep in mind that whereas this is an aberration for Trump’s supporters to behave this way; this is not uncommon on the left. You will not find any videos of teenagers beating up a disabled man yelling f*** Trump as they do it. There are no videos of any mob pulling Hillary Clinton supporters from a vehicle yelling “he voted for Hillary,” as they pummel the victim for voting the way he did. There are no reports of hostility directed at customers in restaurants by workers, because the customer is wearing an “I’m with her” t-shirt. No Democrat politicians have been run off the road by angry Trump supporters, neither has any Democrat candidate running for office been attacked by any angry knife wielding Trump supporters.

It is a pity that we can’t simply condemn these actions in one voice without pointing fingers, but it is necessary in the current environment. So yes, while it is important to certainly condemn these threats meant to scare Democrats politicians let’s not lose perspective and forget who the established perpetrators of political violence in this country are. Keep in mind also that in the last ten years, especially since the election of Donald Trump there has literally been hundreds of hoax hate crimes committed by Democrat supporters in the effort to portray Trump supports in a negative light.  Remember that according to no lesser authority than the conservative hating SPLC, the leader of the Charlotteville white supremacist protest last year, Jason Kessler, was an “Occupy Wall Street” leader, and an ardent Barrack Obama supporter. This may not be one of these instances, but again, perspective.

A couple days ago during a debate at a synagogue with Republican Brian Fitzpatrick, the Democrat Party challenger Scott Wallace dropped the f*** grenade as he was challenged on the veracity of a statement that he made. F*** off he yelled at his opponent as the stunned crowd reacted in disbelief. But who is surprised by this? The Democrat Party has lost its mind since Donald Trump was elected as President, and they believe that anything goes when it comes to trying to get rid of Trump and the Republican congress. Of course the media lets them get away with their behavior, so the Democrats just continue to go further into the abyss. Who can forget? Some time after Donald Trump was elected, the leader of the California Democrat Party led a crowd of supporters in a f*** Donald Trump chant. The enthusiastic crowd hooted and hollered as they repeated the chant with gusto. F*** Donald Trump, f*** Donald Trump f*** Donald Trump. The minority leader in the Congress, Nancy Pelosi, and the Obama administration former labor secretary, Hilda Soliz stood close by, and smiled approvingly as the chant continued…F*** Donald Trump. Maxine Waters called Trump’s cabinet picks scumbags. Bill Maher called Trump a monkey amongst other names, and do not forget the number of celebrities who have gotten in on the act with their insults and name calling over the last two years. Nothing has changed much since then, unabashed hatred of Trump continues to drive the Democrat Party as they descend further and further into the pit of incivility. In the meantime, they continue to complain about the President’s tweeting and his lack of incivility. They do this without the slightest hint of self awareness, as they self righteously proclaim what a rube Trump is. They grab their purses in shock and horror pretending to be offended by the current tone of political discourse while they continue to be the chief purveyors of this type of politics. Trump’s supporters meanwhile refuse to abandon him. It is not that they would not like to see him act more presidential in the moments when he insults someone in a twitter fight. It is not that they wouldn’t like to see him take the high road. They would love to see the protocols and behavior generally associated with the presidency return. By the same token, they have seen the double standards applied over the decades, where Democrats could say and do anything against their political opponents while the media makes excuses for them. This time conservatives have someone in the White House who is actually doing many of the things that he said he would do. They are seeing results, and in addition; the guy fights back. The more that the Democrat Party shows their colors, the more Hollywood loses its mind, and the more that the media abandons its role, it seems like Trump’s support grows even stronger.

Well, well! What to say about Kanye West and his recent visit to the White House. One thing that you could say for sure is that this brother is definitely always entertaining and makes for riveting TV. Whether he is making himself a liberal darling by declaring that “George Bush does not care about black people,” acting the fool by taking the mike from a yourng Taylor Swift, proclaiming his admiration for the way that Candace Owens thinks, or announcing his love for President Donald Trump; no doubt that there is never a dull moment with this brother. 

Kanye is no different than any other celebrity. His opinion does not have more weight than other American simply because he is a celebrity. His celebrity does not give him any special insight or credibility, but as an American he has the right to get involved in the political process, and anythig he says should be measured on the merits. The Kanye that we saw at the White House a couple of days ago is the same eccentric character that Americans have seen a thousand times before. What is different though, is that in a few of his most recent appearances, Kanye has done some things that black people in this country are forbidden from doing. He supports President Donald Trump, spoken against the Democrat Party, shown support for some conservative causes, and refused to bite in to the race bait. For these crimes, Kanye West has become the target of the left’s vitriol, hatred and scorn. As we have seen time and time again, as long as black people are content to remain slaves on the Democrat plantation, they are loved by their Democrat overlords. Those who dare to free themselves, think for themselves and make their own political decisions become fair game for Democrats, the left and their allies in the legacy media. This happens, and is acceptable on only one side of the political spectrum, and the charlatans who are always there to speak out against so called injustice, intolerance, bigotry and racism against black people remain silent. 

A few months ago Laura Ingraham had the audacity to criticize Lebron James for comments that he made about President Trump. She told him to shut up and dribble, then all hell broke loose. Never mind that Ms. Ingram has a book and a segment of her show where she regularly calls out different high profile people telling them to do what they are known for, and to shut up and stop bombarding everyone with their politics. Laura Ingraham was roundly criticized as a racist white supremacist who hated black people. Because she told Lebron James to shut up and dribble!!! Now the whole cabal of Lebron James defenders is completely unhinged in their response to Kanye West’s support of President Trump. They think their reaction to Kanye West is justified because of the groundwork that they have laid in casting Trump as a bigot, a white supremacist, a misogynist etc. It is an evil, brilliant strategy. By successfully painting Trump to a large section of Americans as a dastardly, execrable, sub-human, Hitlerian anti-Christ buffoon, nothing that Trump does can compensate for who he is in their minds. Therefore anyone who supports Trump does not deserve to be treated with dignity and respect, because after all, that person supports evil incarnate. This is how they have convinced themselves that it is ok to insult and denigrate people like Kanye West. This is why a CNN contributor could say that “Kanye West is what happens when negros dont read,” while Don Lemon can hardly control himself laughing. 

True, there is a certain decorum and protocol that one associates with the white house, and Kanye breached it with his profanity laced speech. It is fine to criticize that, but that is not what bothered his critics. What bothers them most is that this black pop icon is showing love and support for a man they all loathe. Kanye’s support may even have the effect of convincing some black people to look beyond the narrative about Trump. And worse, Kanye may even convince some of them that Trump, though quite boorish and unconventional, and for all of his undeniable faults, may be worth giving another look. That scares them more than anything.

Any other Republican President would have forsaken Judge Kavanaugh by now, but not Donald Trump. This is one of the reasons that people support him. The man is not swayed by rampaging mobs. He does not care that people call him racist or misogynist. He is secure in knowing that he is not any of those things, and he is loyal to his base. The mob has tried everything in its power to destroy a decent man in Judge Kavanaugh. They have resorted to classic mob rule tactics, showing up at the homes of their political opponents, harassing them in restaurants and elevators, and committing all types of intimidatory tactics, all to no avail. Senators on the floor have used their positions of power to openly declare that the Judge does not deserve the presumption of innocence. Others have declared him guilty without paying any attention to evidence, and all of the circumstances surrounding the accusations against him. Trump’s willingness to fight back against the constant attacks against himself, and the citizens who support him gives people encouragement that he will not forsake them. 

What we are witnessing in the Senate and across the country is unlike anything that the country has ever seen. Imaging that one staffer for Democrat Senator Sheila Jackson Lee was recently arrested for doxxing the personal information of GOP Senators. In a civil Society we had one Senior Congresswoman openly call for the harassment of cabinet officials. Another time while defending herself against more accusations, she boasted that she has called for harassment of Trump supporters before, but that time she did not. A former member Obama administration official has in the past openly called for a military coup against the duly elected United States President. The other nominee in the last Presidential election has openly declared herself a member of the resistance and actively urges her supporters to engage in the unhinged behavior that we have been witnessing from the left. Some Democratic leaders openly call for throwing civility out the window, and  mobs of resistance agitators are encouraged by the Democrat Party machine to chase after Senators in attempts to intimidate them.  The opposition is by nature supposed to oppose. There is nothing wrong with opposing the ruling Party and the ruling President, but what we are witnessing is a refusal to accept the will of the people, and an effort to undo the result of the elections via a soft coup. Elections have consequences and the ruling party has the right to implement the agenda that they were elected to implement. The Democrat Party and the left are attempting to take over via the mob.

As people talk about the lack of civility brought on by Donald Trump, the intolerance is happening overwhelmingly on one side of the political spectrum. It is one side that is engaged in the name calling, the harassment, the acts of intimidation, the character assassination, the race baiting, violence, and the blatant disrespect of our institutions. Nothing like what we see happening on the left and in the Democrat Party is happening with the deplorables. What is even more alarming is that none of the leadership is calling on their followers to tamp down on their unhinged behavior? There seems to be no grown ups in the Democrat Party and their allies in the media as their supporters engage in open hostility directed toward anyone who disagrees with them. 

So to all you haters of Donald Trump, the question to you is; does the behavior of the Democrat Party and the left in general bother you as much as Trump”s behavior? Do you think anything that Trump has actually done compares to the behavior of the Party that you support? Does the violence bother you? Does the rioting bother you? Are you bothered by the mobs who   harass their fellow Americans at restaurants, their homes and movie theaters? Does the willingness of United States Senators to ruin a man’s reputation based on nothing but unfounded, uncorroborated accusations bother you in the slightest? When a Senator declares to all men in the country to shut up, does that make you concerned? When Democrat Senator Cory Booker says to his supporters to “Please don’t just come here today and then go home. Go to the Hill today and get up in the face of some congresspeople,” do you find that behavior to be bothersome? When Kathy Griffin says to Senator Susan Collins “F*C******K YOUUUUUU because Collins decided to vote yes on Judge Kavanaugh, are you pleased? When you continue  to hear all of the references from Democrats on the evils of white men, does that bother you as much as anything that Donald Trump has ever said or done? Do you know of people getting beaten up for wearing “I’m with her T-shirts”? Are you bothered when leaders in the Democrat Party leads a crowd in a F*** Donald Trump chant, while the minority Pelosi looks on smiling approvingly? How many people do know who have been denied service at a Restaurant or other public place for being a Hillary Supporter? How many Democrat Senators have been physically attacked, or shot by deplorables since the election of Trump? Did this behavior happen under Obama?  One thing we know is that on the ocassion that there is misbehavior on the right, a bright light gets focused on it and it is always roundly condemned by everyone. Where is your outrage at all of these things Trump haters? Why is this behavior acceptable to you when you claim to be so offended by Donald Trump?
