The death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and Supreme Court hysteria

It true that a few years ago Mitch McConnell stated at the time that the reason he would not bring President Obama’s Supreme Court nominee for a vote was because it was an election year. He stated that he believes in an election year, a Supreme Court nominee should be selected by whoever is the incoming President, and that the Senate would then either confirm or deny whoever that nominee is.

The truth is that was never the reason for holding up the nominee. It was all about politics. They simply did not want to confirm President Obama’s nominee. They should have had the courage at the time to either say that, or say that they would do it after the election without giving the excuse that they did.

The could have simply brought the nominee before the Committee and not confirm him, but they did not do that. The tactic they used may have been bad politics, but it was certainly within their authority to do what they did.

Shift forward to the present. To witness Democrats’ reaction to the death of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and President Trump’s intent to fill her seat before the elections; one would think that it is the crime of the century (even worse than Trump’s treasonous act of selling out to Russia). On top of all of that the same Republican Senate committee who refused to vote on President Obama’s nominee, now plan to rush through Trump’s nominee just over the course of six weeks.

Well you make not like it, but elections have consequences.

Since the confirmation of Justice Brett Kavanaugh Democrats have been threatening to pack the court should they regain the Senate, in order to shift the balance of power in their favor on the courts. These are the same people who also want to abolish the Electoral College, and get rid of the filibuster. They want to grant statehood to Washington D.C., and change many of the rules that have Governed the political process since the country’s founding.

Right about now might be a good time to remind people that, like so many of the awful policies and practices in this country; politicization of Supreme Court nominees is a Democrat Party innovation. There was a time when the Senate Judiciary committee always voted on whoever the President nominated to the Supreme Court. They committee would either confirm or reject the nominee. 

The nominees always got confirmed, regardless of their judicial philosophy. That tradion was blown up, and came to an unceremonious end just over 30 years ago when Democrats went on a seek and destroy mission against the nomination of Judge Robert Bjork. 

They dragged his name through the mud. They accused him of wanting to turn back the hands of time. They claimed women’s right would be threatened, black people would see their civil rights progress turned back, and many other unfounded claims. Democrats torpedoed his nomination, and so began the politicization of Supreme Court nominations. A few years later they did the same with Judge Clarence Thomas, but were unable to stop him from being confirmed.

This has been the model that the Democrats have used since then in order to stymie the process of confirming any nominee to the Supreme Court selected by a Republican President. Then a few years ago, in order to ram through President Obama’s District Court nominees, they changed the committee rules, got rid of the filibuster (a favored tactic that they themselves have abused in the past) and confirmed a number of judges to the courts over the objections of Republicans. They were warned that their tactics would come back to haunt them. 

Keeping all of this in mind, why would the Republicans not exercise their constitutional duty to confirm a nominee for the Supreme Court sent to them by the President, and leader of their party. It is true that Mitch McConnell held up President Obama’s nominee and refused to immediately vote on his nomination, but once again; that’s called the consequence of an election.

The people elected a Republican Senate to act as a check and a balance to the power of the executive branch at the time. That is the way that the constitution designed the system to work between the three equal, independent branches of Government, to guard against the abuse of unfettered power by any one of those branches. Sometimes it works in one party’s favor, sometimes the other.

Lindsay Graham said it best, “Democrats chose to set in motion rules changes to stack the court at the Circuit level and they chose to try to destroy Brett Kavanaugh’s life to keep the Supreme Court seat open. You reap what you sew.”

Chaos and turmoil, the left, the media, and the Democrat Party

Defund the police! Defund the police…defund the police. Defund the police? This is actually a real thing in America, in 2020. It is a sentiment that many in the left and the Democrat Party are pushing, and it is having real world consequences. All across the country, anarchists are wreaking havoc as they cause mayhem, and inflict violence on those who do not share there radical vision for the United States of America. 

What is most astonishing to observe in all of this, is the way that these people have gotten so many main stream politicians to acquiesce to their insane demands while turning a blind eye to the destruction that they are causing. Since the death of George Floyd these people have been on an unparalleled rampage in Democrat cities across the land. As is always the case with the left, they leave nothing but devastation and despair in the wake of their actions. Everything that these people touch turns to dirt. 

In the meanwhile, the media, that is supposed to be a check on this kind of madness, is going along for the ride. They are loving it! The media refuses to highlight the trail of death and destruction caused by the people waging this vicious campaign against the American people. You see, the left, the Democrat Party and the media thrive on misery. They believe that misery benefits them. 

The goal is to get rid of Donald Trump and in that effort anything goes. The end justifies the means. If somehow they can get the majority of the country to blame on Trump all of the craziness that we are witnessing across the country, then this gives them a chance to get their hands on the wheels of power once again. 

We do not have to guess what it is the the Democrats want to do. They have told us. They have demonstrated to us what they want to do. They not only want to defund the police, but they want to defund the pentagon. Bernie Sanders let us know that today. They want sanctuary cities where some of the most violent criminals are shielded by Democrat Mayors and Governors from ice. They want to give illegals aliens the right to vote. They want to continue their abortion factories in black neighborhoods. They want to stop the energy revolution that has taken place in the country over the last four years. They want to impose speech codes, weaken religious liberties, dilute the second amendment and impose a socialist agenda on the United States. 

The more social unrest that there is in the country, the more they believe that this benefits them. As long as the media continues with their dereliction of duty, and is on the side of the woke left, the woke left and Democrat politicians believe they can take the reigns of power one more time and implement policies that will make it almost unlikely that they will ever again lose another election. 

With their own mouths, Democrats have told us that they will get rid of the two hundred year old tradition of the filibuster. A policy that was meant to be a check on unfettered power, a hall mark of the Republic. With their own mouths they have told us that they plan to pack the courts, so that any policy that they implement, no matter how contrary to the American way and the constitution, will be rubber stamped by the courts. All of the rules that political parties have always agreed to since the beginning of the country are about to be thrown out if the Democrats regain power. 

No one is imagining this. No one came to this conclusion through Jedi mind reading prowess. The Democrats have told us with their own mouths what they plan to do, what their goal is. As they continue to blame Trump for every thing that goes wrong in the country, as they continue to slander him and his family, and continue the personal attacks none stop, one simply has to take a look at New York City, Chicago, Portland, Seattle, and the other many other cities where chaos is the order of the day to have a good idea of what is about to happen to the United States if these people regain power. 

So while average Americans look around and see all of their traditions under attack, as they look on in utter disbelief at the mayhem and unbridled madness taking place all over America, the Democrats are loving it. 

Chaos is their friend! 

Dystopian American cities

Like the beautiful and amazing Candace Owens says, show me a crime filled city with dilapidated buildings, rampant poverty and a sense of hopelessness among many black people, with a high drop out rate, and a failing education system, and I will show you a city run by a liberal Democrat politician.

Just as an aside, for those of you who may be wondering, Candace Owens is that dynamic, free, independent, black female thinker that some on the left has called a…are you ready for this…a black white supremacist.

Back to the topic!

If you want to know where the left and Democrats in general are in charge, just look for the cities where black people are suffering the most.

You doubt it?

Check it out for yourself: Detroit, Chicago, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Compton, St. Louis, Oakland etc., etc., etc.
Even cities like Seattle, Los Angeles, and San Francisco have gone to the dogs.

In San Francisco, used hypodermic needles are strewn all over the streets, human feces, and other bodily fluids is quite literally all over the streets, to the point where one could inadvertently step in it. The streets reek of urine, and medieval diseases have made a comeback in this once great cities, and others run by Democrat politicians.

Well, we know you’ll say that correlation does not necessarily mean causation. True, but hey; after numerous decades one would think that getting rid of the political party that has been in charge during the decline of these cities may at least be worth a shot.

Blacks are not the only ones being held hostage by their failing policies though. It is the same with Hispanics and other minority groups.

If the misery index is high, then rest assured that city is most likely run by a Democrat politician. They entice the population with free stuff to make the people feel that they care, but these politicians never give them enough to become free and independent of government.

They give the people just what they think is enough to keep them coming back. They give hand outs and not hand ups. It is the politics of the rope as opposed to the politics of the ladder, as Dinesh DeSouza describes it.

They tell their constituents to grab on to the rope that Democrats let down so that these politicians can pull them up. Once their constituents grab onto the rope they are completely at the mercy of the charlatans who are holding the rope.

Many of the people eventually find themselves just dangling in the air, trying desperately to get to the top, but they are completely at the mercy of the Democrat politicians holding the rope.

These politicians convince their constituents that climbing the ladder is too hard because there is risk, but many of the people do not realize that the bigger risk is becoming entrapped in a system that seldom leads to self sufficiency.

Democrat’s air tight impeachment case

When the Democrats in the House decided to impeach President Trump, they stacked the deck to overflowing. The entire process was designed to give the Democrats every advantage they could squeeze out of the process. The Republicans on the House intel committee and the Judiciary Committee had absolutely no say in how the process would be run. 

The Democrats had complete control of the process…complete control. They were in control and they flaunted their power in the most audacious manner. They turned down  every one of the Republicans’ witness request. The Republicans had no subpoena power. They were banned from asking certain questions. They were often cut off during examination of witnesses. In fact it was such a raw display of their power, that the House did not even vote to authorize the impeachment inquiry. The speaker of the House was the one who authorized it by sole decree.  The so called whistle blower was not even allowed to testify and witnesses were even forbidden from uttering his name. If they did, they would be held in contempt of Congress. 

The Democrats did not follow any of the precedents of the Clinton impeachment, and they just continued to literally make up the rules as they went along, breaching them whenever they felt it served their cause. 

The impeachment proceedings in the house were so one sided that the Democrats called 17 witnesses to the republicans 0 witnesses. Just in case anyone is reading this thinks that is an exaggeration, please note that it is not. The Democrats called 17 witnesses, the Republicans 0 witnesses. 

Apart from that, of all the witnesses who were called, not one of them had any kind of first hand information to offer the committee about President Trump. Please note again that this is not an exaggeration. Literally none of them had any first hand information to give on President Trump. 

When questioned by committee members every single one of the witnesses admitted that they were giving their own personal opinions, or making assumptions. 

So after cooking the process to favor the Democrats, after calling their 17 witnesses  to the Republicans 0 witnesses, they impeached the President. They then triumphantly declared that the case against the President was water tight. They proclaimed that the evidence was overwhelming. It was an open and shut case that could not be denied. It was incontrovertible. Trump had committed high crimes and misdemeanors. 

They had no choice but to impeach the bastard and they had to do it now doggone it! It was imperative that they not delay. It was so important to get it done during the short time frame that they did, that they told the nation they could not afford to await the results of the courts that were going to rule if Trump had to allow his people to testify before Congress, or if his claims of executive privilege were legit, and therefore they did not have to testify. That would take too long, and this was an emergency, so they just went ahead and impeached him for appealing to the courts. For the sake of the Republic they had to do it. It was a national emergency, but then something curious happened on the way to the Senate. 

The Democrats’ sense of urgency dissipated and they refused to deliver the articles to the Senate. They held on to them for 28 days, trying to bully the Senate, telling the Senate how to conduct the trial. 

After telling everyone that they proved their case beyond the shadow of any doubt, because the evidence was so strong, what did they spend the first day doing? Well, they spent most of the first day demanding that the Senate do the job of the House, and call more witnesses. They proceeded to then lie to the country saying there were no witnesses when in fact they had 17 witnesses, to the Republicans’ and the President’s ZERO witnesses. They needed an 18th witness for their airtight cas that proved beyond the shadow of any doubt that Trump is guilty.

Of course, the sycophantic fake news media was right there alsongside them, cheering them on every step of the way, playing their silly games, and holding not a single Democrat to account for their shenanigans.

Do Democrats ever lie or do anything that deserves the type of negative coverage that Trump gets?

We hear all the time how much Trump lies. How come we never hear anything about any Democrat’s lies. Where are the statistics on how much Adam Schiff’s lies? Why is there no fact checking of Adam Schiff? Why is it that we never see long features looking into the Democrat’s methods and the things that they say? Is there anyone who can point to one single reporter interrupting Nancy Pelosi while she is speaking to correct her on anythings that she is saying? Why is it that all of the news coverage of President Trump and the Republicans are so one sided in terms of negative coverage? Is it that the Democrats are such paragons of virtue that they never have to be fact checked? All questions that Democrat supporters will never answer?

When Trump is engaging in obvious exaggeration and braggadocio, the media deciphers every word to point out that he told an untruth. It is so bad that when Trump said that there were burgers a mile high at one of his functions, the media fact checked the statement to point out there was not a mile high pile of burgers. Trump lied! We never see this kind of scrutiny when it comes to Democrats. Why is that? We know that the number of Trump’s lies is now officially up to 15000. How many lies has Nancy Pelosi, Gerald Nadler, Adam Schiff, Kamala Harris, Corey Booker, Joe Biden and other prominent Democrats told? But no one!  Only Trump deserves the scrutiny.

These people have no credibility. They do not deserve Americas’s trust. They don’t even do investigative journalism anymore. They are the most mindless, incurious, Democrat sycophants who do not care one iota that their profession is now in utter disrepute.

They themselves keep being caught in lie after lie. They destroy peoples lives like they did with the Covington Catholic School boys, or like they did with the whole Russian collusion ruse, and they never apologize. The country is now squarely divided into two camps that harbor genuine animosity toward each other, and it is in large part due to the media abandoning its role as watch dogs, but instead have assumed the role of advocates for the Democrat Party.

These people spent three three years pushing a story that they knew to be a lie from the beginning, and they milked it for everything that it was worth, in the process dividing the country further and further apart, but the truth never mattered to them. Getting Trump did! Even now many of them persist with the Russian collusion hoax. So much pertinent news that could give context, cool tensions, or promote unity goes unreported because the news media is so crooked.

A Democrat could say we are going to impeach the MFer in a public forum, minutes after being declared the winner in an election, and the wrath of the media does not get kindled the way that it is when Trump sends out a tweet they do not like. The Democrats have been so emboldened by the news media that a branch of the party could lead a crowd of people in a chant of f*** Donald Trump, with Nancy Pelosi standing right there smiling, and not worry about ever being called out by the corrupt media.

One candidate running to be the Democrat President could talk about his desire to punch the President, and all we hear is the sound of crickets in the night because the media does not think that is worth even a small fraction of the coverage if it it was a right winger who said something like that about some prominent Democrat.

They have Joe Biden on record saying with his own mouth…on record…saying with his own mouth that he threatened to, and withheld aid from Ukraine unless they did his bidding, but to the despicable media that is not a story that is worth digging into to find out more. What do they do? They make excuses for him.

Maxine Waters is on record instructing her supporters to harass her political opponents. The woman is on camera literally telling her supporters to harass people in public places like movie theaters, gas stations and other places, telling them to “create a crowd, push back on them and tell them that they are not welcome anymore, anywhere,” but no one in the media has ever gone after Maxine Waters with the type of aggression that we see when they go after. In fact the response to Waters by her media allies was so tepid, that she boldly doubled and tripled down on her comments, confident that she would never be held to the same standard as any conservative or Republican. That was not the last of her controversial statements but she remains a hero to the media.

One half of the country looks at this stuff going on everyday and they wonder how they could ever get their message out with any fair coverage by the media.

The media has always leaned left, but what we have been witnessing since the election of Donald Trump is unlike anything that we have ever seen in this country. This is why citizens have to take matters up for themselves and speak out so their message can be heard. They have to become engaged and actively combat the lying media. They must not allow themselves to be cowered into silence by the virulent left.

These people have been getting away with this nonesense for far too long. It will only get worse if no one confronts them.

Democrats hate Trump more than they love America

Has anyone observed that since the Democrat Party won back the House of Representatives in November 2018, they have not been legislating. They have not outlined an agenda that they are working to achieve to benefit all Americans.
 
The business of the house has been put on hold as Democrats have made getting rid of President Trump their single focus, their number one priority. Instead of engaging in lively debate over policy differences, Democrats have engaged in pointless investigations of the Trump administration, one after the other.
 
Because every investigation that they have launched has been based on nothing but their desire to find dirt, each investigation so far has been a bridge that leads to nowhere. Everyone has started out the same way. They become outraged over some faux issue that they claim is an example of the President’s malfeasance, and therefore they have to get to the bottom of it.
 
The investigations always end up the same way. They over play their hand and always end up getting embarrassed when their experts and witnesses are questioned by Republicans in the House. As each investigation ends with a whimper or flames out in a puff of smoke, they move on to their next investigation.
 
To say that the Democrats hate Donald Trump more than they love America is not mere hypoberle. Their actions give them away.
 
The Democrat party machine has traditionally been the party of anti-American sentiment and outright hatred of their country, but this current exhibition that they are putting on is unlike any display that we have ever seen from them. They have absolutely gone bonkers.
 
Now, as noted before; it is quite normal for the opposition Party to go against the sitting President based on differences in policy, but Republicans never treated god this way when he was the President.
 
Everyone remembers that one time when a Republican Congressman shouted “you lie” while god was addressing a joint session of Congress. The Congressman spent the next eight years apologizing and explaining to the media that he is not a racist despite his one time outburst when he accused god of lying.
 
That is how it was when god ruled America for eight years. Today the Democrats routinely call the President some of the vilest names that one can imagine. Some have openly talked of their desire to inflict violence on him, or to see violence inflicted on him, and they have done everything in their power to sabotage his Presidency. As they behave this way their colleagues and their allies in the media cheer their behavior.
 
Now they are trying to impeach Trump because he asked the President of Ukraine to look into possible corruption at the firm that hired Joe Biden’s son, and the company Crowdstrike that may have been involved in working against the Trump campaign in the 2016 election.
 
For this, the Democrats believe that they have a duty to remove the sitting President.
 
Their case is so frivolous, that there is no doubt here once again that these people will be exposed and embarrass themselves.

The impeachment horror show continues

Tomorrow the Democrats will take their theater of the absurd to another level in the hope that this time they’ve got Trump.

The sycophantic media will be their to cheer them on. The press will shamelessly be clapping enthusiastically, shouting encouragement as their Democrat Party allies perform their desperate act in the effort to take down the President.

In a sane world with an honest press, the media would be exposing the the abuse of power currently taking place in the House of Representatives, but we live in an alternate reality where norms of due process are trampled under feet with impunity, and the media could not care less (recall Kavanaugh).

The media should be screaming their lungs out at the top of their voice, protesting the way that the Democrats are conducting their impeachment inquiry, but with their rabid hatred of Trump any thing goes.

The media has lost all credibility but they do not even care. They are now invested in destroying Trump and that matters to them more than anything.

So as the the President’s accusers make their claims, the President’s lawyers are not present to confront them. Trumps lawyers cannot even question the “witnesses” accusing the President of wrong doing.

The process has been conducted in secret for weeks and the Democrats have been selectively leaking any information that may look unfavorable to Trump. The American people cannot judge for themselves based on what they see

The Republicans so far have been stripped of any subpoena power and only Adam Schiff and his band of mischief makers have been able to call witnesses. As the Democrats continue their farce, beginning in the morning, the Republicans would be given limited subpoena power, but guess what, Adam Schiff will have the power to reject their witnesses.

They have already rejected many of them.

If you want to know how much power Schiff and his cronies will have during the process beginning tomorrow, all you have to do is look at the rules that would govern the hearing, then compare them to the rules that governed the hearing during the impeachment hearing for Bill Clinton, and you would be stunned by the difference in the treatment of the two Presidents.

By the way, Bill Clinton actually committed crimes. He committed perjury and he suborned perjury. The guy settled a sexual harassment lawsuit and lost his law license for crying out loud.

The Democrats on the other hand want to impeach Trump because they disagree with him on policy.

From Russian collusion to quid pro quo

Are Americans paying attention to what is going on with this impeachment witch hunt? It cannot be possible that people hate President Trump so much that they are willing to put all of the regular processes on the way things are done, aside, just because of their rabid hatred for this man.

The Democrats are conducting an impeachment inquiry in secret!

It is difficult to believe that this is happening in America. That may sound like a cliche, but please do not take that statement as a flippant use of the sentiment. This is not the kind of thing that happens in America.

The Democrat Party is trying to unseat the President of the United States in secret hearings.

Make no mistake, impeachment is a political act that the Democrats have every right to conduct, but the way that they are conducting it is more in keeping with something that is out the playbook of the Cuban, Venezuelan or perhaps the former Soviet Union regime.

Just in case you did not get it, the Democrat Party is trying to unseat the President of the United States, and doing it via a secret impeachment inquiry. They are then leaking out selective parts of witnesses’ testimony to the dishonest media with the public having absolutely no context to anything that was said in the hearing.

Today the word of the day was “devastating.” Everyone in the media repeated that word with the gusto of a second grade class reciting their times tables.

The incurious media kept repeating how devastating to the President the testimony of one witness was. So with the charlatan press repeating how devastating the testimony was, and how much it was a blow to Trump, are the American people supposed to take the word of these untrustworthy snakes?

We have known that the media lies and lies and lies and lies when the truth is evident for all to see. Are we supposed to take the word of Don Lemon, Anderson Cooper, Chuck Todd, Chris Hayes, or Chris Matthews when the whole process is taking place in secret.

These are the same people of the Russia collusion hoax. They knew the truth from the very beginning, yet they played the ruse with breathless enthusiasm for two and a half years. How many times have we heard them declare that this time they have the goods on Trump only to see their narrative fade out with a whimper. These frauds do not deserve the public’s trust.

Today Republicans in the house had to storm the hearing in order to make a point because the Democrats refuse to allow them to be in the room while the Democrats question witnesses.

What is this?

There is no way that this is ok even if one is the biggest Trump hater. In this process only the Democrats have been allowed to subpoena witnesses and the President’s lawyers are not even allowed to be in the room as people make their claims about what he did.

The chairman of the intelligence committee (why is the house intelligence committee doing the hearing and not the judiciary committee) conducting the inquiry is not even going to call the so called whistle blower to testify. Do you get that? The person who started the whole charade is not going to be called by the Chairman, and that person’s identity is going to remain a secret.

This is absolute madness!

How is it even possible that in the midst of all of this nonsense the news media never ever grills Democrat politicians with the same fierceness and intensity that they do Republicans. Why are there never no confrontational interviews with the Democrats? How come they are never asked piercing questions from the other side’s perspective? Why are Democrats never interrupted as they spin? Why does the media never ever highlight their lies? Are the Democrats pure as the wind driven snow and therefore there is no reason for the media to ever be tough with them?

The truth is the media has taken a side and they are now on a mission to destroy the President, so they are willing to look past all of the irregularities, the vitriol, the nastiness and the unfairness of the Democrats.

As far as the media is concerned, right now the Democrats are doing God’s work and they are just there to help it along.

This is incredible to watch.

For anyone who missed it, the Democrat party is conducting an impeachment inquiry in secret. Let that sink in.

Republicans have been locked out of the hearing, and they cannot subpoena witnesses. Only the Democrats get to call their witnesses. The President’s lawyers are not present, they cannot question witnesses, and on and on the madness goes.

In the meanwhile, the media who always lectures the lowly proletariat about speaking truth to power refuses to give a balance perspective.

Wow!

If you are a Trump supporter watching this nonsense unfold, let this steel your resolve to make sure that these people do not get their way.

The continued harassment of President Donald Trump

The treatment of this President by the Democrat Party, the media and Washington insiders  is unlike anything that we have ever witnessed in the history of this country. The daily  attempts to sabotage the Presidency of Donald Trump is just stunning to behold. What is even more unbelievable is to see the media go along with these acts of sabotage all in the effort to take down a President they do not like. 

It is not unusual to oppose the party in power. That is standard operating procedure, but the hate towards this man, the personal attacks against him and his family, the non ending attempts to bring down his Presidency based on nothing but innuendo and wishful thinking is way outside the bounds of normal political gamesmanship. 

This is sick, this is evil! 

To watch the news media and their Democrat allies revel in the attempts to personally destroy Trump makes one wonder if these people even have souls. How is it possible to hate someone so much that these people are willing to say and do the things that they have engaged in for the last three years? 

These people actually started talk of impeachment before Trump even took took the oath of office. Since then they have called on members of the electoral college to not certify the election. They have baselessly called for Trump’s cabinet to invoke the 25th amendment, and they have called for their supporters to harass members of Trump’s cabinet when these cabinet members are in public spaces. 

Celebrities and other prominent people joke about the prospect of violent acts being committed against the President, and they call the President the most vulgar names imaginable. All the while no one in the media makes the familiar “call for civility” that they often make if a Republican or conservative steps out of line. Every day there is a constant barrage of nothing but nasty, hostile coverage against the President without ever giving him credit for any of the things he has accomplished. 

One Congresswoman on the night she was elected shouted to her enthusiastic crowd of  supporters that “we’re gonna impeach the muther f*****,” but not even that comment was enough to cause the charlatan media alarm. And so it has gone since this guy has been elected.

 Again, it is normal for the party in power to face opposition, but this is just crazy. When Obama was elected the Republicans infamously said that they will do everyting in their power to make Obama a one term President. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that statement based on their stark policy differences. It is the job of the party in the opposition to highlight the differences between the two parties, and try to regain power based on the idea that their policies are better. That is the nature of politics. 

What we are seeing with Trump though is Democrats and the media trying to undermine the President at every turn, using the most underhanded tricks in their attempt to stage a soft coup. 

The President has been under investigation since he first came into office. Not one of these investigations is based on evidence of wrongdoing by by him, but simply in the effort to find dirt on him.  When have we seen a President treated this way before? 

The media and the Democrats hated President Ronald Reagan with a fiery passion, but not even Reagan experiesced this.

Now the latest act of sabotage is that some low level employee listening in on the President’s decided to snitch on the President’s conversation with another world leader, because that low level employee thinks he heard something fishy. Is this really what we have come to as a country? Think about this for one moment and let it sink in to the consciousness. A low level employee is second guessing the President’s discussion with another world leader because that low level employee thinks that the President is saying something inappropriate. 

Imagine during the Cuban Missile Crisis that some low level employee who has no idea of  what is going on behind the scenes, who has no idea of the back and forth negotions, the feeling out of each other that the two leaders are doing, or any of the intricate detalils that the President and his team knows. Imagine that low level employee listening in on a conversation between Kennedy and Kruschev and deciding that Kennedy is out of line in his negotions, and then goes snitching to Congress that he believes Kennedy has stepped out of line. 

Does anyone understand how ridiculous that would be. Folks the bar for anyone who is privy to the President’s conversations with wolrld leaders, discussing what he or she may have heard in those discussions with anyone must be very high. 

The President of the United States must be allowed a lot of leverage to discuss issues with world leaders without worrying that his conversations would be leaked. Are we saying that world leaders now have to worry about the conversations they have with the President of the United States being leaked, because as one person says, the very act of being President is now impeachable?

It does not matter who the President is. What we are witnessing at the moment with the so called whistle blower and members of the Democrat Party is just wrong, and the fact that people are willing to go along with this simply because they hate the man in the White House is so very troubling. 

This nonesense has to stop!

The white supremacy threat

Society shoud call out with a loud voice and identify white supremacy for the evil that it is, like any other evil ideology. It is unacceptable! It must be condemned wherever it rears its ugly head. 

That said, let’s be honest. The idea that white supremacy is a problem that is pervading American society is a ruse. It is ridiculous! This is not to say that racism does not exist. It surely does. One would have to be a fool to make such a statement. 

In a country as large as the United States of America, that is as diverse as America, it is impossible for there not to be racism. The idea that white supremacy is a major threat to American society  however is a tool that is used by politicians to scare people into voting for certain politicians, and turning away from others. 

For a large segment of the population, people do not have to actually do racist things in order to be considered racist. One simply needs to have certain political beliefs, and that is enough for people to label that individual as a racist. It is a sinister tactic that is part of an overall strategy designed to keep people’s minds off of real issues, and instead focus on the white supremacist bogeyman. 

Here is a couple examples of how it works. Charlie Rangel, a former black Congressman from New York once said, “it’s not sp** or ni***r anymore, Republicans just say cut taxes.” Another media commentator once said “Republicans are using [the IRS scandal as their latest weapon in the war against the black man. ‘IRS’ is the new ‘N****r.'” By labeling opponents as racists, for many; the conversation then shifted from tax cuts, and a really huge scandal that involved the IRS to making sure that the “scary evil racists” don’t attain, or are removed from power. 

During the reign of Barrack the great, this tactic of labeling every political disagreement as racist went into overdrive. Every criticism or mean word spoken against the great one was labeled as racist. Just the fact that his holiness was black and most of his detractors were white was sufficient grounds for his political opponents, or people who simply did not like him to be labeled as racist. It went like that for eight straight years. If you opposed Obamacare you were a racist who did not like that a black man was in charge etc. 

If people make a case for voter ID laws, they are immediately called racist and the topic of whether or not voter ID laws are a good idea is avoided because after all, everyone knows racist laws are bad, right. 

Over the years the bar to label someone as racist has been lowered to such an extent that racists acts are no longer required. No proof is ever necessary! All that is is needed is the assurance in one’s own mind that the accused is racist. 

This glib use of the word racism is only ever directed against one group…white people, and it does not matter how much improvement there continues to be in race relations. The charge of racism will be hurled at a person without hesitation despite how that person has lived his or her entire life. One slip of the tongue is all it takes and an individual’s reputation, career and life could be ruined by the charge of racism.

In America today a person could recover from being labeled a murderer faster than being labeled a racist, yet the refrain continues and the beat of the drum is constant. America is racist. White supremacy is a major threat in America. It is a lie!  It is a crafty device that is meant to shade certain people and policies from criticism. The constant cries of racism is meant to scare political opponents, and to destroy them if they dare to step out of line. 

Many white people walk around on egg shells, scared to death of being labeled as racist, and they fold up into the foetal position cowering in the corner at the mere idea of being labeled a racist. Many of them try to deflect negative attention by joining the chorus and labeling others as racist for no sound reason. These white saboteurs then get to pat themselves on the back for “telling it like it is,” or “speaking truth to power,” when in fact all they are doing is signaling their own virtue, and in the process continuing to tear the country apart based on a completely false narrative. 

Again, just to be completely clear, no one here is saying that racism does not exist. News flash! We will always have racism, just like we will always have other forms of evil. Let’s identify racism, confront it where and whenever it shows up and keep on moving, but the idea that racism and white supremacy is an integral part of  the American fabric is laughable. 

More people should stop being afraid to say so and treat it for the joke that it is.
